Effective July 14, 2026. This policy explains what A1iO, Inc. collects, why, and the controls you and your call recipients have. It applies to www.A1iO.com and the A1iO platform.
A1iO provides AI voice calling and lead-intelligence software to business customers (“workspaces”). For account data — your name, email, billing details — A1iO is the data controller. For the contacts you upload and the calls, texts, recordings and transcripts your workspace generates, A1iO acts as a data processor on your instructions; you are the controller of that data.
Account data: name, work email, company, password hash, plan and billing history (payment card details are held by our payment processor, not by us).
Workspace content: contact lists you import (with the consent records you attest to), agent configurations, knowledge-base documents, call recordings, transcripts, AI summaries, SMS threads and webhook configurations.
Usage & device data: log data, IP address, browser type, and product analytics used to operate and improve the service.
To provide the service (placing and receiving calls and texts, transcription, AI summaries, lead scoring); to bill you; to secure the platform (fraud, abuse and spam prevention); to comply with telecom regulations; and to send you service communications. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your recordings, transcripts or contacts to train foundation models.
If you received a call or text from an A1iO-powered agent, the business that initiated it is the controller of that interaction. Agents disclose they are AI at the start of calls, honor “do not call” requests immediately, and process STOP replies to texts automatically. You may contact legal@a1io.com with the calling number and we will route your request to the responsible workspace and apply platform-level suppression where required.
We use vetted subprocessors for telephony, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, language-model inference, hosting and payments, each bound by data-processing agreements. Data is processed in the US and EU; enterprise plans may pin processing regions and execute our standard DPA with SCCs for international transfers.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access is role-based and logged (see the audit log in your workspace). Recordings and transcripts follow your workspace retention window (default 13 months); deletion is immediate in our systems and propagated to subprocessors. Account data is retained while your account is active and for the period required by tax and telecom law thereafter.
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and similar laws), you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Workspace owners can export or delete workspace content directly in the app. For anything else, email legal@a1io.com — we respond within 30 days.
We use essential cookies for sign-in and limited analytics cookies; no third-party advertising trackers. The service is not directed to anyone under 16. Material changes to this policy are announced in-app and by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
